Hi Nathan,
I spoke on the phone with Charlotte last night also.
:-) Yep, she was right its on Sunday the 4th. The noon start is just a
starting point.
I'm not sure the best way to get from St. Charles to Mascoutah. You could
contact my brother Rick, who lives in the St. Charles area. His numbers are
Home-636-928-0744 Cell-314-750-0492. He has made to the trip from St. Charles
to Mascoutah several times.
The service is at Zion Lutheran (101 S.
Railway, Mascoutah) at 10 AM in Mascoutah.
It will probably be around noon or a little later by the time we all get to
Hamel from Mascoutah.
From Mascoutah.... take IL Rte 4 north for about 28 miles
to IL Rte 140. Turn left on Rte 140. This will take you into Hamel. Once in
Hamel, you will go over I-55, to a 4 way stop, continue going straight at the 4
way stop, the Community Center will be on your left a few blocks past the stop
sign.
The response to the food and everything else needed has been good. I think we
will have everything we need.
Doris and Gary are getting here sometime this week. They are traveling in their
RV. Joan, John, Donnie, Sandy, Jerry, Sharon and Uuno are getting into the area
on the 31st and lst.
Sandy and Jerry will be staying with us. Joan & John are staying at the Super 8
in Staunton, IL. Their brother Junior.. remember him....lives in Gillespie,
Il. Staunton is in between there and Hamel. Joan has ask Junior and Jewell to
come to the reunion, but not sure if they are. Sure hope so. I think Donnie is
staying with my cousin Dale in Belleville, not sure. Sharon and Uuno will be
staying with Donna and Rich in Belleville. So we'll be spread all over the
area. :-)
I can't believe the reunion date is almost here, we've been talking about it
for so long. Really looking forward to it.
I think I covered everything about time, food and directions.... if not... let
me know.
Love, Janice

January 2, 2005
New Year's greetings to all:
I told Janice that I would send this out, but I am not sure that I have
everyone's email. So if you see someone that I missed, (Paul and Charlotte that
I know of for sure - I don't have their e-mail addresses) please forward this to
them.
We are thinking about getting some T-shirts made up for the reunion. Nothing
real fancy. We were thinking about putting G & G Bollmeier's picture on one and
G & G Bultmann's on another, and for those of us who are both, we would put one
on the front and one on the back. Also, the date. We are trying to keep the cost
to a minimum, so we will not try to list everyone's names. (Maybe we could all
sign the shirts or something if you want names.) Anyway, just an idea. If we get
enough yea's we will pursue further.
Please let me know as soon as you can and once Janice and Buck return home from
San Diego, I will get with her and see what can be done.
Take care, Love,
Sandy
Hello cousins,
There has been some interest shown in getting everyone together for a family
reunion.
Namely Paul, (who suggested it in his Christmas card) myself, Sandy, Doris, and
Lee.
I'm offering a room here in Hamel, at the Community Center, to have it. This is
a pretty central location.
How about Labor Day weekend 2005. I have a room reserved (at the Center) for
September 4, 2005.
I can always cancel. This will give everyone a lot of time to think about it and
to make plans.
Let me know your thoughts and idea's. Hope to hear back from all of you.
Anyone who will be talking to Paul or Joan please pass this information on to
them.
Your cousin, Janice
